
Day 1: Arrival Istanbul
Arrive in Istanbul, a stunning and enigmatic city nestled in Turkey's Marmara
region. Discover its breathtaking beauty, rich culture, vibrant lifestyle, and
the perfect blend of contrasts that make Istanbul truly unique. Upon arrival,
our local representative will warmly greet you and escort you to your hotel.
The rest of the evening is yours to leisurely explore the wonders of Istanbul.
Day 2: Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up for a full-day tour
of Istanbul. The tour starts with a visit to Topkapi Palace, once the private
residence of the Sultan and his court, and the center of executive and judicial
authority in the Ottoman Empire. Next, explore the Hippodrome and Obelisks,
where the ancient Byzantine Hippodrome once stood, a historic site of chariot
races and political events. Enjoy a shopping opportunity before breaking for
lunch at an Indian restaurant.
Afterward, visit the iconic Blue Mosque, one of Istanbul's
most prominent landmarks, renowned for its stunning domes, serene courtyards,
and six elegant minarets. The tour concludes with free time to explore the
legendary Grand Bazaar, where you can shop for unique treasures. Dinner will be
at an Indian restaurant, followed by a transfer back to your hotel for an
overnight stay in Istanbul.
Day 3: Istanbul to Cappadocia
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll be picked up for a day
of shopping and sightseeing in Istanbul. Begin with a 1.5-hour Bosphorus
Cruise, offering views of the picturesque districts of Beşiktaş, Bebek, and
Ortaköy. Following lunch at an Indian restaurant, explore the vibrant Spice
Bazaar. Later, you'll transfer to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia
(arranged independently). Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel, where you'll
enjoy a local dinner either at the hotel or a nearby restaurant. Overnight in
Cappadocia.
Day 4: Cappadocia
After breakfast, depart from the hotel for a full-day tour of Cappadocia. Your
first stop is the Dervent Valley, where you'll be introduced to Cappadocia's
surreal, almost Martian-like landscape. Next, visit Avanos, a charming town
known for its terracotta art, cobbled streets, and scenic river views, as well
as its renowned earthenware pottery, the town’s main economic activity. After
enjoying lunch at an Indian restaurant, explore the Red Valley and Rose Valley,
where you'll visit famous rock-cut churches and take a 2 km hike through the
stunning terrain. The tour concludes with a transfer back to your hotel. Dinner
will be served at the hotel or a local restaurant. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 5: Cappadocia to Antalya
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll be picked up for a Cappadocia tour before transferring to the airport for your flight to Antalya. Begin your day with a visit to the Zelve Open Air Museum, where you'll witness some of the finest examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia. The people of Göreme, located in the heart of Cappadocia, discovered that the soft rocks could be easily carved to create homes, churches, and monasteries. After lunch at an Indian restaurant, head to Pigeon Valley. In the afternoon, explore the fascinating Underground City, where early Christians once sought refuge. The village above is built around nearly a hundred tunnels, making it one of Cappadocia's most intriguing underground settlements. After dinner at a local restaurant, transfer to the airport for your evening flight to Antalya. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Antalya.
Day 6: Antalya
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a guided drive to
Karpuz Kaldıran Waterfalls, where the cascading waters meet the sea. Enjoy a
photo break at Konyaaltı Beach before continuing to Kaleiçi. After lunch at an
Indian restaurant, explore the historic old town, including the Gate of
Hadrian, the Clock Tower, the Fluted Minaret, Palm Street, and the ancient
harbor. Kaleiçi is also home to many beautiful old houses that add to its
charm. End your day with a 45-minute boat tour. Afterward, you'll be transferred
back to the hotel. Dinner will be at a local restaurant or at the hotel.
Overnight in Antalya.
Day 7: Antalya – Pamukkale
After an early morning breakfast, embark on a journey to
Pamukkale, famously known as “Hierapolis” Travertine Terraces, traveling
through the scenic landscapes of Denizli. Upon arrival, enjoy a local lunch at
Pam Thermal Hotel, where you'll also have two hours of free time to unwind in
the hotel's thermal water pool, renowned for its healing properties. The
highlight of the day is a visit to Pamukkale’s stunning natural wonder—the
Cotton Castle. This mesmerizing site features sparkling white travertine terraces
formed by calcium-rich thermal spring waters cascading down the plateau,
creating petrified basins and stalagmites. These thermal waters, celebrated
since Roman times for their therapeutic benefits, lead to the ruins of the
ancient Roman city of Hierapolis, which lie just behind the terraces.
You’ll have the opportunity to swim in the Cleopatra Pool, a
famous thermal spring (optional), and explore the significant historical sites,
including the remarkable Roman Theatre and the largest and most impressive
antique graveyard in Asia Minor. After soaking in the historical and natural
beauty of Pamukkale, return to Antalya. Dinner will be served at a local
restaurant or back at the hotel. Overnight in Antalya.
Day 8: Antalya Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to
Antalya Airport for your flight to your next destination via Istanbul.
