
Day 1: Arrival Istanbul
Arrive in Istanbul, Turkey's most captivating city located in the Marmara
region. Experience the beauty, rich culture, vibrant lifestyle, and the
harmonious blend of contrasts that make Istanbul truly unique. Upon arrival,
our local representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy
your first night in this mesmerizing city.
Day 2: Istanbul
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a tour of the Sultanahmet
area, the historic heart of Istanbul where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires
once reigned. Visit the stunning Hagia Sophia, a 6th-century basilica
built by Emperor Justinian and renowned for its architectural brilliance.
Across from it stands the Blue Mosque, known for its beautiful Iznik
tiles and six minarets, commissioned by Sultan Ahmet. Explore the Hippodrome,
once the centre of chariot races and political activities, and see its
monuments: the Serpentine Column, Obelisk of Theodosius, and German
Fountain. Wander through the Grand Bazaar, the world’s largest
covered market with nearly 4,000 shops offering everything from antiques to
souvenirs. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Topkapi Palace,
home to Ottoman Sultans and featuring the imperial treasury, sacred relics, and
exquisite Chinese porcelain. Note that the Harem section is not included in
this tour. Finally, view the Sultan Tombs near Hagia Sophia, showcasing
16th-century ceramic panels and historical artifacts. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3: Istanbul to Cappadocia
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out. Our local representative will
transfer you to Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) for your
flight to Cappadocia (additional cost). Upon arrival at Kayseri Airport (ASR)
or Nevsehir Airport (NAV), you will be transferred to your hotel in Cappadocia
for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and explore at your
leisure. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 4: Cappadocia
After breakfast, embark on the Full Day Cappadocia Red Tour, including a local
lunch. Cappadocia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is famous for its
extraordinary landscape of fairy chimneys, rock formations, and underground
cities. The Red Tour typically covers key highlights such as the Goreme Open
Air Museum, Cavusin Village, Love Valley, Pasabag (Monks
Valley), Devrent (Imagination) Valley, and the Urgup Fairy
Chimneys. Additionally, visit the Avanos Pottery Workshop to see
traditional craftsmanship. This comprehensive tour offers an excellent overview
of Cappadocia’s most iconic attractions.
Day 5: Cappadocia Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Kayseri Airport (ASR)
or Nevsehir Airport (NAV) for your flight back to your onward destination via
Istanbul.
