DAY 1 HANOI ARRIVAL – AIRPORT PICK UP

On arrival at Noi Bai international airport, you meet our driver and transferred to hotel for check in. Ha Noi,

Vietnam’s capital, is a stylish and gracious city that retains an unique old world charm and some Asia’s most striking colonial architecture. Many lakes and parks make for relaxing atmosphere.

DAY 2 NINH BINH DAY-TRIP: TRANG AN NATURE RESERVE – BAI DINH PAGODA (B,L)

08.00 Pick you up at your hotel, arrive at Trang An after 2 hour driving.Start tour Trang An – Bai Dinh Pagoda.

10:30 – 12:00: Arrive in Buddha Prayer place in Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight.

12:30: Have lunch in local restaurant with some local special dishes such as Goat meat with elderberry, pork ….

14:30: Depart to visit Trang An tourist attraction, take boat trip to visit cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers. Trang An is considered as Ha Long on the land.

16:30: Back to Hanoi at your address, Trang An – Bai Dinh Pagoda Tour ends.

18.00 Arrive at your hotels in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 3 HANOI – HALONG BAY – 6-HOURS BOAT TRIP (B,L)

Note: Private transfer and private boat for a group from 10 people. Group boat and sharing bus transfer for less than 9 people

This morning you check out your hotel and transfer to Halong bay (3.5 hours drive). At noon time, you board a cruise at Tuan Chau harbour.

Check in aboard with while the boat is cruising forward to the Ha Long bay.

13:15 Let your cruise vacation start with a delicious lunch set menu in restaurant

15:30 Discover Sung Sot cave where located on top of mountain, contain the long history of geological value and the natural beauty. Recommend you bring camera and wear sport shoes for hiking. Kayaking in the area of Luon cave if the weather is permitted. Swimming and sunbathing on Titov beach among the sea. Boating back to the harbour. Then land transfer to Hanoi.

Overnight in Hanoi.

Note: The cruise itinerary can be changed a bit due to the weather condition on the particular days, and upon the cruise we book finally.

Lunch: Vietnamese foods on cruise because no cruise in Halong bay serves Indian foods. However, Vietnamese vegetarian is also available and good taste, we have organized the same meals to Indian clients and they find no problem to this arrangement.

DAY 4 HANOI CITY TOUR – THANG LONG ROYAL CITADEL - FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH CITY (B)

In the morning, check out hotel and you do some city sightseeings in Hanoi center, visiting Ba Dinh historical square where former President Ho Chi Minh declared the Independence of Vietnam in 1945; Ho Chi Minh stilt- house where he lived and worked during Vietnam War (next to the current President Palace).

Walk through the Parliament House to the nearby Thang Long Royal Citadel the only UNESCO world heritage of Hanoi city. This used to be the former kings’ palace during the 10th – 18th century. Visit Doan Mon gate, Kinh Thien kings’ yard, D67 military vestige, Princess temple. Visit the excavation site if it’s opening.

OPTION ACTIVITY – YOU CAN BOOK OR NOT (~ 2 hours) + US$ 13/ person as the entrance fee

In early afternoon you visit Lotte Observation Center – on the 65th floor or Lotte Tower where you cast your unlimited view to all districts of Hanoi city. Experience the fastest elevator of Hanoi to reach this floor. It’s a SkyDeck where you have memorial time and you can try Sky Walk on the glass on the air. You also can use the complimentary binoculars and electric board to know each district of Hanoi in details. There are fastfood shops and coffee shops for your own drinks on this SkyDeck.

Private transfer to Hanoi airport for the direct flight to Ho Chi Minh city in South Vietnam (2-hour flight).

DAY 5 CU CHI TUNNELS MORNING TOUR - HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR (B)

After breakfast, at 8:30am, you depart for Cu Chi tunnels. Located 60km from the city center, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. Today, ducks and water buffalos happily co-exist in the rivers along the side of the road. However, the peaceful rural rice paddy scenery belies the area’s violent history. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage & defoliation over this whole area, caused by bombing and mines. Start our tour in the morning, before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war).

Free time for shooting by AK47 riffle or M16 carbin in “free target zone” (bullet fee is paid by yourselves).

Afternoon you visit Reunification Palace, formerly known as the Presidential Palace. The place symbolizes the end of Vietnam War when a North Vietnamese army tank went through its gates. Then taking a short stroll to see Notre Dame Cathedral and General Post Office, they are the beautiful examples of architecture from the French colonial period. Stopover at Ben Thanh market for your free shopping. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

DAY 6 MY THO – BEN TRE (MEKONG DELTA) 1 DAY TOUR (B,L)

After breakfast, the tour guide and our driver pick you up from your hotel. You depart for Mekong delta. After 2 hours driving, you arrive at My Tho city. Overview floating fish houses by boat. Motorized boat ride to Con Phung (Phoenix Island) of Ben Tre province. The province is home of coconut, you can buy handicraft made from coconut trees.

After lunch is the time to explore amazing Mekong canals. Motorized boat cruise along natural creeks and quiet villages in Ben Tre province. Visit orchards, bee-keeping house, enjoy honey tea, seasonal tropical fruit and traditional music. Rowing-boat ride along small mangrove palm creek (mangrove palm or Nypa-frutican known as "dừa nước" in Vietnam)

See coconut candy production process. Around 3:00 PM: Get on the bus to come back Ho Chi Minh City. On the way back drop by Mekong Rest Stop for short break. Drive back to the hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

DAY 7 HO CHI MINH AIRPORT – DEPARTURE (B)

After breakfast, free leisure in the morning. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel to Tan Son Nhat airport. See you off at Tan Son Nhat international airport. Say goodbye to Vietnam and see you next time.
